Mat classes and private appointments are offered via Zoom. To register, please send an email to mainlypilates@gmail.com. We will respond with directions and an invitation code to join the class. All mat classes have a suggested donation of $10 and can be paid through PayPal (Venmo options coming soon).

Pilates refers to a system of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates, intended to strengthen both the mind and the body. The 6 fundamental principles on which his philosophy of movement are based are: centering, control, flow, breath, precision and concentration. The strength of the core of the body serves as the foundation for Pilates exercise. Pilates exercises are done either on a mat on the floor, referred to as Pilates mat work, or on specifically designed exercise equipment developed by Joseph Pilates.
